One day after images of the Virgin Mobile broadband aircard hit the internet, the company has formally launched their internet service, coined as Broadband2Go. Sporting 3G connectivity sans contract, it will launch exclusively in Best Buy Mobile locations in late June for $149.99 with four price plans: 100 MB for $10 (expires in 10 days), 250 MB for $20 (expires in 30 days), 600 MB for $30 (expires in 30 days), and 1 GB for $60 (expires in 30 days).
Though the plans are pricey compared to postpaid carriers, the Virgin Mobile option is ideal for those that need broadband internet on a limited basis and don't want to spend the $720 that the average carrier charges yearly.
