Nokia 3606 comes to Cricket
Cricket has launched the Nokia 3606 for use on their network. Coming in at $179.99, the handset is the most expensive in the company's current lineup, however with unlimited voice plans beginning at $30 and unlimited everything plans at $50, it is worth a second look. The device offers a 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and FM radio. Via BGR
AT&T planning to launch Samsung BOGO offer
On the heels of a similar BlackBerry offer by Verizon Wireless, AT&T has announced a BOGO promotion of select Samsung handsets, beginning on April 7th. The offer includes the Samsung A877, which has now being referred to as the Samsung Impression. Due to the start of the promo, we can safely assume that the A877 will be launched by then. Sony Ericcsson seeking a split?
According to a German newspaper, Ericsson is seeking to sell back their share of Sony in the Sony Ericsson partnership. Even with cutting 8,000 jobs and closing 10% of their factories, the losses still ranked in the billions, thus making it challenging for Sony to buy out Ericsson's stake. Furthermore, there is rumored in-fighting between the companies over the PSP phone. The companies involved did not comment. Via PhoneMag
