It's Sony Ericsson day! Just when I thought I'd said all I had to say
on the rumored upcoming SE announcement, I come across this gem on the
Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog: UESB got some pics and info from the
Arabic site se4m, and they point towards a new G-series slider
smartphone. Say hello to the G705:
The device sports a 3.2 megapixels fixed focus camera with an LED.
Other features include a built-in GPS, 2.4 inch display, and it runs
the A2 software platform.
But wait, there's more. UESB is also thinkin' the next SE announcement will mark the unveiling of "Remi," the successor to one of SE's best phones ever, the T610. While the T610 is ancient by cell phone standards, its design is pretty timeless in that, "Let's update it and sell it again!" kind of way. Judging from the pics it's a pretty nice remake, I must say, and seems on par with the W890, spec-wise:
So? specifications. It's running the A2 software platform, like the
W890 and many others, and it's an HSDPA-enabled phone. The camera on
the back is a 3.2 mega pixel one, unfortunately only with fixed focus.
