Samsung was flexing their mobile muscle at this years CES convention by introducing several new phones they deemed to be ?Groundbreaking?. Now the term groundbreaking may be a little bit of stretch, but the phones are definitely interesting and worth a look.
First on the list we have the SGH-i450, a dual slider design that utilizes an iPod like touch wheel for navigating through your media files and the powerful Symbian S60 3rd generation operating system to meet all of your multitasking needs. For all of you audiophiles out there you will be happy to hear Bang and Olufsen developed the amplifier powering the all new metallic speakers creating a rich listening experience with excellent sound quality.
Next we have the SGH-G800 a device that doesn't know if it's a phone with a camera or camera with a phone. Either way the G800 sports an impressive list of features. The handset's claim to fame is its 5 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and face recognition technology. As a phone the device is no slouch either sporting features like a document viewer (Word, Excel, Power Point and PDF), TV out capability, FM radio and Bluetooth printing. Unfortunately the phone is only Tri-Band and will not be available in the US.
The last two phones announced are the SGH-i620 - a kind of odd looking vertical slider that hides what seems to be a difficult to use full QWERTY style keyboard and the SGH-i780 AKA the Blackjack 2.
