Earlier this year, Samsung introduced Level, its new family of “premium mobile audio products” that includes headphones, earbuds and a speaker. Now that family is growing with one more Level speaker.
The Samsung Level Box mini is, well, a smaller version of the Level Box. The Level Box mini can connect to a device over Bluetooth but also includes a 3.5mm jack if you prefer a wired connection. You can also tap your device to the Level Box mini to pair it over NFC. Samsung says that the battery inside of its new shrunken speaker can provide up to 25 hours of playback.
It doesn’t look like Samsung has dimensions available for the Level Box mini, so it’s not clear exactly how much smaller it is than the Level Box, but it certainly looks quite a bit smaller. Its price tag is smaller, too, with the Level Box mini carrying a price tag of $99.99 while the Level Box is $169.99. The Level Box mini will be available in a silver, black and red starting today from Samsung, with Best Buy launching an exclusive blue color on November 16.
