Less than a week after Samsung sent invitations to what is likely the Galaxy Note 4’s debut event, images of the device itself may have leaked out.
GSMArena claims to have received photos that show the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in the wild. The device looks like a big ol’ slab of a phone and is sporting Samsung’s well-known physical home button and faux leather backside. Interestingly, the Note 4 appears to have metal edges similar to the Galaxy Alpha that’s also leaked out recently. Speaking of edges, these Note 4 photos also show what looks to be an S Pen on its bottom edge.
Overall this looks like an evolution, not a revolution, of Samsung’s Galaxy Note smartphone line. It’s still a big, rectangular device, but the addition of a metal edge could help to give the Note 4 a more premium feel than its predecessors. The Note 4 is also rumored to be making the jump to a super high-res 2560x1440 display.
What do you think of this device? Will you be happy if this is the Galaxy Note 4 that Samsung introduces on September 3?
