Last month, NVIDIA took the wraps off of its Shield tablet, an Android-powered slate with NVIDIA’s new Tegra K1 processor at its core. If you’d prefer to give the K1 a go with a different form factor, though, Acer has something that may interest you.
The new Acer Chromebook 13 features a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, which promises to help provide up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge. The full Acer Chromebook 13 spec rundown looks like this:
The Acer Chromebook 13 is going up for pre-order today at Amazon and Best Buy. Pricing starts at $279.99 for the model with a 1366x768 display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, moving up to $329.99 for 4GB of RAM. Those folks that’d prefer a high-res display can pony up $299.99 for the 1920x1080 display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The top-end model boasts a 1920x1080 screen, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a $379.99 price tag.
