HTC is a big fan of releasing its smartphones in multiple color options. The original One (M7) was made available in five different hues, and we’ve already seen the One (M8) sport several different duds since its debut in March. Now the One (M8)’s got a couple more outfits to add to its closet.

HTC has officially introduced pink and red versions of the One (M8) in the U.K. The pink HTC One (M8) will be a Carphone Warehouse exclusive when it launches on August 7. Pre-orders start July 25, and customers that plunk down for a unit early will receive a free HTC Dot View case.

The red One (M8), which is currently available on Verizon in the U.S., will be exclusively sold by O2 in the U.K. Pre-orders will begin on August 2 and a full-on launch will take place on August 7.

While some folks will undoubtedly wish that HTC would offer all of its One (M8) colors right off the bat, the company’s strategy of rolling out new colors throughout the device’s lifespan helps to reinvigorate interest in it after its launch. For those that haven’t yet picked up a One (M8), having more colors to choose from is always a good thing, especially when they’re bright and different from the usual black, gray and white hues.
