The HTC One Remix has been a rumor mill regular in recent months, appearing in multiple leaks and even briefly popping up on Verizon’s official YouTube channel. Thankfully, it’s expected that the One Remix will finally make the jump from rumor to reality later this week.
A new report from our friend Mr. @evleaks claims that Verizon will finally launch the HTC One Remix on July 24, aka this coming Thursday. There's no concrete evidence to support this rumor, but Verizon is known for releasing new products on Thursdays, so a July 24 certainly could go down. There’s no word yet on how much Big Red plans to charge for the device.
The HTC One Remix will reportedly be Verizon’s version of the HTC One Mini 2. For those of you that need a refresher, the One Mini 2 packs a 4.5-inch 720p display, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage.
Should those specs hold true, the HTC One Remix could be a nice offering for Verizon customers that want an HTC One (M8)-like device in a slightly smaller package. We’ll have to wait until the One Remix launches to find out exactly what makes it tick, but the good news is that that wait may only last for a couple more days.
