Order an LG G Watch or Samsung Gear Live when they were put up for pre-order last week? If so, you’ll want to install Google’s new app so you’ll be prepared when your wearable finally arrives.
Google just launched its official “Android Wear” app in the Play Store. As you’d expect, the app allows you to pair your Android device with your Android Wear gear. The app allows you to control voice action preferences, adjust your notification settings and configure your devices.
While there’s not much that most of us can do with this Android Wear app right now, it’s nice to see Google place the app onto the Play Store’s virtual shelves ahead of the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live ship dates. This way, any new Android Wear users can have the app loaded up and ready to go the second that their smartwatch hits their wrist.
Have you ordered an Android Wear device yet? If so, did you pick the LG G Watch or Samsung Gear Live?
