Just a few days after a report claimed to show the black and white front panels of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, the part has emerged again in a new hands-on video.
Posted by Chinese site iFanr, the video purportedly shows a black front panel of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6. As with the previous leak, this part features a round cutout next to the earpiece as well as edges that appear to have a slight curve.
Also included in the video is a comparison of this iPhone 6 part to both an iPhone 5s front panel and an actual iPhone 5s unit. We can see that the iPhone 6’s edges are indeed curved, and unsurprisingly, the iPhone 6’s 4.7-inch screen opening is larger than the iPhone 5s’s 4-inch display.
Obviously nothing about the next iPhone is official until Apple says it is, but the rumblings of a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 are steadily growing as we get closer to September and the expected debut of the next iOS smartphone. If this iPhone 6 front panel is genuine, it appears that Apple has worked to make the larger screen as friendly to one-hand use as possible, so folks worried about the 4.7-inch screen being too large may not have to worry.
