Hot on the heels of a major Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime leak, some new details about the rumored HTC M8 Prime have purportedly been revealed.
In a string of tweets posted earlier today, @evleaks has shared a number of details that may shed more light on the rumored HTC M8 Prime. The device is said to feature body that’s made of a material that’s described as “a composite of aluminum and liquid silicone.” The M8 Prime is also expected to waterproof.
As for its more traditional specs, HTC’s M8 Prime will reportedly feature a 5.5-inch WQHD 2560x1440 display, 3GB of RAM and a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor. The M8 Prime’s wireless connectivity may include support for a speedy Cat. 6 LTE radio.
While the HTC One (M8) is no slouch, this rumored M8 Prime sounds like an absolute monster of a device. Whether or not this device will actually materialize on store shelves with these specs intact remains to be seen, but between the M8 Prime, Galaxy S5 Prime and LG G3, it’s looking like 2014 could be a pretty good year for Android spec hounds.
