Along with its KnockCode security feature, one thing that LG has been pushing heavily with its recent smartphones are its QuickWindow cases. It offered them with the G2, G Pro 2 and L90, and now it looks like the G3 will get a QuickWindow case of its own.
Leaky leakster @evleaks has leaked several images that claim to show off the QuickWindow mode that’ll be included with the LG G3. The case will allow the user to perform select functions — including viewing the date and time, answering or rejecting a call, tracking steps and more — without actually opening up the case. One difference between the G2’s QuickWindow case and the G3 version is that on the G3, the window will be round instead of square.
As I mentioned before, these QuickWindow cases are one of the products that LG has been pushing the heaviest lately, so it’s no surprise to learn that the Life’s Good crew may be prepping a special version for its new flagship.
We’ll have to wait until May 27 to learn all of the functionality that the G3’s QuickWindow case will provide, but so far it looks like it’ll come in handy for performing basic functions without having to open your case once every 5 minutes.
