Remember when we told you that the Developer and Unlocked versions of the HTC One (M8) were available for purchase at a price of $649.99? Well if you want a unit at that price, you've only got a few more hours to give HTC your credit card information.
HTC's U.S. arm just announced that its promotional pricing for the Developer and Unlocked editions of the HTC One (M8) will end at midnight tonight. Once that happens, the prices for both models will go up by $50, bringing them up to a total of $699.99.
The Developer and Unlocked HTC One (M8) units are similar to the version sold by AT&T, but the Unlocked model comes with its SIM card slot unlocked, meaning that it can work with other GSM carriers out of the box. Meanwhile, the Developer unit features an easily-unlockable bootloader that will allow users to install custom ROMs with minimal effort.
While $50 may not sound like much when you're already dropping several hundred dollars on a contract-free phone, it's always nice to save a little cash when possible. Plus, you could always use that $50 on new apps or a case for the M8 if you do order a unit tonight.
