Nearly one year after T-Mobile kicked off its Uncarrier transformation and announced its Simple Choice plans, the Magenta carrier has announced that it's making some changes to its offerings to give customers more data and some international texting.

Under the new plans, Simple Choice customers can receive unlimited talk, text, 1GB of 4G LTE data (tethering included) for $50 per month. Data-hungry T-Mobile subscribers can move up to 3GB of high-speed data for an additional $10 per month, 5GB for $20 or unlimited high-speed data with 5GB of tethering for $30 per month. Customers also have the option of adding additional lines to these plans at a price of $30 for a second line and $10 each for lines three through five.

T-Mobile is also expanding its international offerings. The big magenta carrier has increased the number of countries that its subscribers have access to unlimited global data and text services, growing it from 115 to 122. Meanwhile, T-Mo is also giving every Simple Choice customer unlimited international texting from the U.S. to more than 120 countries and destinations.

T-Mobile says that all of its existing Simple Choice customers will be automatically upgraded to these new plans on March 23. That means that any Magenta folk already on a Simple Choice plan will auto-magically gain more data and unlimited international texting in a couple of weeks, which should make for a nice way to kick off the spring season and the (hopefully) warmer weather. Overall these Simple Choice plan changes seem pretty spiffy, and it'll be interesting to see which of the other major U.S. carriers respond to these refreshed offerings.
