AT&T and HTC are now rolling out an update to Android 4.2.2 to the One X+, just like an HTC executive promised they would earlier this week. The update is a beefy one, weighing in at 550MB, and it brings the One X+ up to software version 2.15.502.1. Wondering what kind of tweaks AT&T and HTC have crammed into this 550MB ball of goodness? Wonder no more:
HTC has already confirmed that this update to Android 4.2.2 will be the last major software bump that the One X+ receives. That's kind of a bummer for One X+ owners, but at least the device is getting bumped up to fresher versions of Jelly Bean and HTC's Sense overlay as part of its final big update.
If you've got an AT&T One X+ and are ready to receive your last big Android upgrade, you can check for the update manually by heading into Settings > AT&T software update > Check for Updates on your device. Just be sure to savor it once it arrives, ok
