After recently hitting AT&T's shelves nearly a year after its initial announcement, it appears that Samsung's Galaxy S III mini is about to make an even more fashionably late debut on another U.S. carrier. @evleaks has shared an image of what's said to be the Galaxy S III mini that, as you probably noticed by that tattoo on its home button, is headed for Verizon. The device sports a dark blue face with a light blue edge and a Verizon-ified 4G LTE logo in its status bar.
There's no word yet on when Verizon might be planning to launch the Galaxy S III mini or how much it'll charge for the shrunken device when it does. Considering the phone's age and the fact that AT&T is selling it for $0.99 on contract, though, I'm betting that the Verizon model will be fairly easy on the wallet. It's also worth noting that Verizon recently confirmed that it plans to sell the Galaxy S4 mini "soon" for an unspecified price.
The Galaxy S III mini isn't the only upcoming Verizon product that's been outed early by @evleaks. The serial leaker has also posted an image of an Android tablet referred to as the "Ellipsis 7." Details on this thing are fairly light, but it's got 4G LTE connectivity, and both its name and shape suggest that it's packing a 7-inch display. While there hasn't exactly been a shortage of new Verizon-capable tablets announced recently, having more choices when shopping for new hardware is always good, and that's one thing that we can be sure that the Ellipsis 7 will do.
