Hopefully you don't have any plans for tomorrow morning, because T-Mobile has decided to surprise us with a last-minute press conference. The big magenta operator has announced that it's planning to reveal some Un-carrier 3.0 Part II news tomorrow, Oct. 23, at 9:00 a.m. PT. The event will involve T-Mobile CEO John Legere and CMO Mike Sievert answering questions from Twitter using the hashtag "unleashtheablet" and through text messages that are sent to the number 313131 and contain TMUSQA.
When it comes to exactly what Legere and Sievert are planning to say, it seems likely that we're going to get some tablet-related news. In its announcement of tomorrow's event, T-Mobile teases that "only [it] can offer tablets to consumers in a highly disruptive Un-carrier way." The carrier said the same thing in its statement regarding Apple's new iPads, making it seem even more likely that tablets will play a role in T-Mo's Twitter conference tomorrow. Do you have any guesses as to what Magenta may be planning to reveal?
