After showing its face in a leaked render yesterday, it appears that the Verizon-bound Nokia Lumia 929 has decided to do a little turn and give us a look at its backside as well.
A new image posted by @evleaks has revealed the rear of the black Lumia 929, and as suspected, it lines up nicely with that white Verizon-branded Nokia phone that leaked out around a week ago. Included on both devices is a 20-megapixel PureView camera with flash, a speaker in the corner of the unit and branding from both Nokia and Verizon.
Besides the 20-megapixel camera and 4G LTE support that's been revealed by this leaked image, there's not a ton of information available on the Lumia 929's spec sheet quite yet. However, the render of the 929's front showed that it was sporting an extra column of Live Tiles, a feature that's expected to be enabled on phones with larger, 1080p displays with the upcoming GDR3 update.
Even though details on the Lumia 929 are still light, it's good to see that another high-end Nokia Windows Phone will soon be arriving on Verizon's shelves. The big red carrier used to be a bit of a Windows Phone wasteland, but since the arrival of Windows Phone 8, we've seen quite a few devices on Verizon that run Microsoft's mobile software. The Lumia 929 looks like it'll keep the streak of VZW WP8 hardware going, and while it may not be available in bright colors like other Lumia models, getting the 929 is certainly better than getting no new Windows Phones at all.
