Nearly two weeks after the 8GB Nexus 4 officially went out of stock in Google's Play Store, the 16GB model has met the same fate. Shoppers that visit the 16GB Nexus 4's product page in the Play Store are now greeted with a message that reads "We are out of inventory. Please check back soon." However, a source speaking to The Verge says that Google has no plans to restock the 16GB Nexus 4, meaning that the LG-made device is no longer available for purchase from Google in the U.S.
Google hasn't made any official announcements regarding Nexus 4 and its availability, but with its recent $100 price cut, these sell outs and the upcoming one-year anniversary of its announcement, it certainly looks like this LG and Google collaboration is reaching the end of the road. Nexus fans shouldn't fret, though, as a recent string of leaks has given us a new LG Nexus smartphone to focus our attention on. There's no word yet on when this new Nexus might be made official, but with the N4 now sold out, a refresh can't be too far off.
