We've known for a while now that the HTC One Max is going to be a big phone thanks to the presence of a 5.9-inch display. If you needed any extra proof that the One Max will be a pocket-stretcher, though, the folks at Chinese forum ePrice are happy to oblige.
The same source that posted the One Max photos from this past weekend has shared a new shot of the device with a Motorola XT882 sitting on top of it. The XT882 sports a 4-inch display and, as you can see in the photo, can fit inside the display of the One Max. This new photo also gives us a better look at what appears to be a plastic edge around the outside of the One Max, similar to the one found on the One mini.
The One Max is expected to fill out HTC's "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" smartphone family, offering consumers the choice of a BoomSound and aluminum-clad smartphone that's either small and one-hand friendly (One mini), massive with bleeding edge specs (One Max) or something smack dab in the middle (One). Anyone facing that dilemma still has a bit of time to decide which is the right fit, as the One Max is expected to debut in September. HTC recently began teasing the device's arrival with a brief video and the message that it's got "big things ahead."
