A new report from The Verge claims to have the details, courtesy of a source that's spent some time with a CDMA variant of the device. Some of the features are ones that we've heard before, but there are a few new tidbits revealed by today's leak as well. Here's what this latest leak claims is powering Motorola's Moto X:

• A display that's "in the vicinity of 4.5 inches"
• 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960T (S4 Pro) processor
• 2GB RAM
• 1,500mAh battery
• A "near stock" version of Android 4.2.2
• Removable Kevlar back cover

The source of today's report also had a bit of information to share on the Moto X's software features. For example, the voice command system that automatically responds to the phrase "OK Google Now" will reportedly need to be turned on in the phone's Settings menu. It's also said that Moto X can learn a person's voice to better understand it, which could help prevent it from responding to actions that other people shout out. Other rumored software features include an "Auto HDR" camera mode and a summary of recent notifications that will be shown when the Moto X is first reactivated after an extended period in standby.

If the leaks that've surfaced so far end up being accurate, the Moto X ought to slot into the mid to high-end category at launch. While it may not offer a bleeding edge spec list, its feature set still seems pretty respectable, and a near stock build of Android 4.2.2 ought to help things run smoothly. The claim of a 1,500mAh battery seems a little disconcerting, but we'll have to wait until we've got a Moto X of our own to test before getting too worked up.
