After first starring in a late night image leak that showed off its AT&T-branded face to the world, the Nokia EOS is back today to give us another peek at its body. This time we're getting a look at the back of the handset, which looks fairly similar to the real life EOS that leaked out nearly a month ago.
The image, which was shared by @evleaks, shows a pair of wireless charging pins near the bottom of the phone as well as a large camera housing that definitely looks to be protruding from EOS's back. That housing features the camera lens itself as well as Xenon and LED flashes. We can also see the volume rocker, power/lock key and dedicated camera button on the EOS's side.
The first thing that many folks will notice about the backside of the Nokia EOS is its large camera housing and the way that it sticks out from the rest of the phone's body. It's no surprise to see a camera hump on the EOS's rear, though, because the device is reportedly equipped with a beefy 41-megapixel camera sensor, just like the Symbian-powered 808 PureView before it. If the rumors hold true, the EOS will be the first Windows Phone device with a "true" PureView camera, and I'm betting that many Windows Phone users won't mind having a slight camera bump if it means that they'll have a 41-megapixel shooter in their pocket. The EOS is expected to be officially unveiled at a Nokia event on July 11.
UPDATE: Shortly after sharing this image, @evleaks issued another tweet claiming that the Nokia EOS won't be known as the Lumia 1020 like previous leaks had claimed it would be. Instead, the device will reportedly be known as the Lumia 909.
