It feels like it's been a while since we've heard any news about the upcoming Nokia EOS, but tonight that drought came to an end thanks to the appearance of a leaked render. An image posted by @evleaks claims to show the Nokia Lumia 1020 for AT&T, complete with the big blue carrier's globe logo in the upper left corner and the "My AT&T" app on the device's Start screen. We can also see a "Nokia Pro Cam" app on the Lumia 1020's Start screen, which is likely the Nokia Pro Camera app that a previous leak claimed would allow for fine-tuning of the device's 41-megapixel PureView camera.

Speaking of the EOS/Lumia 1020's 41-megapixel PureView camera, the fact that this leaked image only shows the phone's front means that we can't get a better idea of how large of a hump that big sensor will create. Other leaked photos have shown that the EOS does have a bit of a camera bump on its backside, which isn't terribly surprising considering that it's packing a 41-megapixel camera. The good news is that the same photos also made it look like the EOS isn't much thicker than the Lumia 920 and its 10.7mm-thick frame.

Nokia is holding a "Zoom. Reinvented." event on July 11 in New York City, and it's widely expected that the Finnish firm will use the shindig to officially unveil the EOS/Lumia 1020. There's no word yet on when the device will actually begin hitting store shelves and consumers' pockets, but for the AT&T folk that are getting antsy for a new Lumia while watching T-Mobile and Verizon customers get the Lumia 925 and Lumia 928, I'm sure that that release date can't come soon enough. At least we've got this leaked image to keep us occupied until July 11 rolls around.
