Less than a week after the 8GB white Nexus 4 was listed as "no longer available for sale" on the Google Play Store, its 16GB counterpart has been given the same status. Navigating to the 16GB white Nexus 4's product page now brings up a message that says that "Nexus 4 with Bumper (White, 16GB) is no longer available for sale." Additionally, both the 8GB and 16GB models of the white Nexus 4 have been removed from the "Choose another Nexus 4" area beneath the main product image, leaving just the black versions of Google's latest Nexus available for shoppers.
Google still hasn't commented on the status of the white Nexus 4, so its official status is still up in the air. Considering that both models have been listed as "no longer available for sale" and have been yanked from the "Choose another Nexus 4" menu, though, it's certainly possible that the white Nexus 4 is done for. After all, the device is described as being a limited edition model.
There's a chance that it's just the bumper bundle that's sold out and that the standalone white Nexus 4 will soon appear on the Play Store's virtual shelves, but it's probably not wise to hold your breath waiting for that to happen. Anyone that's dying for a white Nexus 4 can still snag one from T-Mobile with a free wireless charger, but you'll end up paying a bit of a premium over the Play Store's pricing ($427.99, to be specific) for it.
