Sprint is already playing host to a few different LG Optimus-branded smartphones, but it looks like there will be one more joining the roster in the near future. According to a report from @evleaks on PhoneArena, the LG Optimus F3 will be hitting Sprint's shelves "in the next few weeks" with the model number LS720 and a price tag that's expected to be "aggressive." The Optimus F3 is packing a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, dual-core processor, 4G connectivity, Android 4.1.2 and a 2,460mAh battery that's powering the whole package.
In addition to the Optimus F3, @evleaks claims that the LG Optimus G Pro will be coming to Sprint sometime this quarter. The model number is said to be LS980, an identifier that we recently saw in a Sprint User Agent Profile. However, it was speculated that the LS980 could be a new Optimus G model due to the UAProf's mention of an "M8974", thought to be a reference to the Snapdragon 800. Now it appears that the LS980 may actually be a Sprint-ified Optimus G Pro. The good news is that, with a release reportedly happening this quarter, we may not have long to wait before we find out the LS980's true identity.
