Android 4.2.2 quietly began making its way to Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and GSM Galaxy Nexus models late last night, and while Google still hasn't officially acknowledged the rollout yet, that hasn't stopped Nexus owners from digging in to the new version of Jelly Bean to see what goodies it contains. The folks at Android Police and Android Central have dug up several new features, so let's break 'em down in an easy-to-digest bullet point style:
While there may not be any huge new features that've been found so far, that's not entirely surprising considering that this is a 0.0.1 update. The ones that have been found sound like nice little additions, though, and I'm sure that there are some under the hood tweaks as well as a few other goodies that have yet to be dug up. For now we'll just have to let the Nexus-toting folk that've already installed 4.2.2 to keep searching. Here's to hoping that Google starts pushing 4.2.2 out even more in the coming days to speed up that process. How many of you have already gotten hold of the Android 4.2.2 update? If you do have the update, did you receive it over the air or did you seek out a manual download?
