What new phone will dethrone the Galaxy Note II?
MT PLEASANT, SC – PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) has set the standard for ranking the best current smartphones by taking votes by readers and experts alike and sorting them in respective charts. In week 47, the Samsung Galaxy Note II showed no signs of slowing down. It placed in first in the People's Choice Chart, edging out the Nokia Lumia 920 by 159 votes. And in the Mobile Tech Experts’ Chart, it beat both the Samsung Galaxy S III and Apple iPhone 5 by 19 expert points.
Second in the People's Choice Chart was the Nokia Lumia 920. In third, trailing the Nokia Lumia 920 by just five votes was the Samsung Galaxy S III. Also close behind was the Google Nexus 4, which was just 13 votes behind third place. In the Mobile Tech Experts' Chart for week 47, there were some upsets and surprises. The Samsung Galaxy S III jumped from fourth to tie with the Apple iPhone 5 in the #2 spot with 37 points. And the HTC DROID DNA, with 33 points, took fourth place.
