We're not exactly strangers to the Amber Brown and Ruby Wine versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note II at this point, but today Samsung has given us a formal introduction to both models anyway. On its official Samsung Tomorrow blog, the company this morning made both the Amber Brown and Ruby Wine variants of its 5.5-inch phone/tablet hybrid official, giving us a clear look at both models. Unsurprisingly, both devices look similar to the Marble White and Titanium Gray units that've been available for months now, except that these are sporting some spiffy new paint jobs.
Samsung hasn't been afraid to refresh its Android handsets with new colors in the past, including both the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S III mini. That's why it's not much of a surprise to see the Note II get the same treatment. We're all for having several color choices when it comes time to buy a new smartphone, though, so it's good to see that the Note II is gaining some new duds. It's not clear if either of these new Note II models will ever see the light of day on a U.S. carrier's store shelves, but all four new colors of the Galaxy S III eventually made their way stateside, so it's certainly possible that the Amber Brown and Ruby Wine Note II variants will do the same. Would any of you pick up one of these Note IIs if they hit the U.S.?
