Grab your calendars, Android fans, because Google just announced the dates for its Google I/O 2013 conference. The official Google Developers Twitter account has revealed that I/O 2013 will be taking place from May 15 to May 17. Other details about the event are still light, but Google has promised that registration information will be shared in early 2013.
Google I/O 2012 took place in late June and brought with it Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Nexus 7 and the Nexus Q. The year before that, Google held I/O in early May and announced the Android 3.1 Honeycomb update and also teased Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Obviously there's no word yet on what Google has up its sleeve for the 2013 edition of I/O, but considering that El Goog has made some pretty big announcements at I/Os in the past, Android fans will likely want to be locked to their computers from May 15 through May 17 of next year. Have any of you attended Google I/O in person?
UPDATE: The Google Developers page on Google+ has given a few more details on I/O 2013. The conference will once again be held at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco, and registration details will be announced in February 2013.
