Samsung confirmed earlier this year that the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be updated to Android 4.1, and some international owners have already started receiving their taste of Jelly Bean. As if a bump up to Android 4.1 wasn't enough to get excited about, though, today Note 10.1 users still on Ice Cream Sandwich got another reason to look forward to the update.
Samsung has revealed that a Premium Suite upgrade will also be included with the Note 10.1's bump up to Jelly Bean. Included in the upgrade will be Multi Window for viewing multiple apps at the same time, Air View for previewing content in an app without actually opening it and Quick Command for creating shortcuts to quickly open up apps and services. Also packed into the Premium Suite are Easy Clip, Photo Note, Paper Artist and enhancements to both handwriting and the S Note app.
The original Galaxy Note also received a Premium Suite upgrade with its bump up to Ice Cream Sandwich earlier this year, bringing users goodies like extra multimedia features and some new S Pen-friendly apps. Now it's the Galaxy Note 10.1's turn to get in on the Premium Suite action, and this new upgrade sounds like it's got quite a few additions to keep Note 10.1 owners busy after they're done playing with Google's butter-flavored tweaks in Android 4.1. There's no word on when those of us in the U.S. might start to see the Jelly Bean update hitting the Note 10.1, but the good news is that Samsung has posted a lengthy video showing off the new Premium Suite to entertain and educate owners while they wait. Check it out below.
