Ready for a second serving of Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung Captivate Glide owners? That's precisely what you'll be getting starting tomorrow, as AT&T has announced that the Captivate Glide's update to Android 4.0 will be available starting November 10. The update will bring with it the usual goodies that we've come to expect from a bump up to ICS, including Face Unlock, improved notifications and the new Recent Apps shortcut.
Once the calendar flips over to November 10, Captivate Glide owners will be able to install the Android 4.0 update by visiting Samsung's website and following the instructions found there. The Glide's bump up to ICS was originally made available in early September, but it seems that it was put on hold so that Samsung could "optimize the update" for users. Here's to hoping that things go smoothly tomorrow.
