Good news this morning for AT&T customers interested in snagging a shiny new Windows Phone 8 device, as the big blue carrier has finally spilled some concrete availability information on its upcoming slate of handsets running Microsoft's new mobile OS. AT&T has revealed that the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 will be available starting November 9, aka this Friday, with pricing set at $99.99 and $49.99, respectively. Both devices will be available for pre-order starting on November 7. AT&T will be offering a free wireless charging plate with the purchase of a Lumia 920.
AT&T also confirmed today that its version of the HTC Windows Phone 8X in California Blue will be available before Thanksgiving with 16GB of storage and a $199.99 price tag. There will also be an 8GB version of the 8X available in either California Blue or Limelight (an AT&T-exclusive yellow model) for $99.99.
While we've known for a while now that the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 would be hitting AT&T sometime in November, this is the first time that the big blue carrier has offered any specific release date and pricing information for either device. The Lumia 920's price matches the cost of the Lumia 900 that launched back in early April, but this time AT&T is also throwing in a free wireless charging pad, which could help to make the 920 a bit more tempting to consumers. Meanwhile, customers interested in the HTC Windows Phone 8X on AT&T now know how much they'll have to pony up for their desired device, but the wait for a concrete release date continues on. Any of you AT&T customers planning on picking up a Windows Phone 8 device this month? If so, which one?
