The HTC Windows Phone 8X is already confirmed to be Verizon-bound, and we even know that it'll carry a price tag on $199.99 on Big Red's shelves. However, one thing that's still up in the air is the phone's exact launch date, as Verizon has only said that the handset will be here before Thanksgiving. Today we received an image of HTC Windows Phone 8X signage in a Verizon store, showing that the handset is indeed nearing launch. Unfortunately, the tipster didn't have any additional details to share.
HTC's Windows Phone 8X features a 4.3-inch 1280x720 Super LCD 2 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB storage, 8-megapixel rear and 2.1-megapixel front cameras and Verizon 4G LTE connectivity. Verizon plans to offer the 8X in California Blue, Graphite Black and Flame Red. We may still be in the dark about when in the next couple of weeks Verizon actually intends to launch the thing, but hey, at least this newly-leaked image of 8X signage can serve to whet the appetite of Verizon customers hungry for a taste of HTC's new Windows Phone 8 offering.
