AT&T confirmed earlier this month that it plans to offer the LG Optimus G, but at the time of that announcement, launch and pricing details were light. That's not the case any longer, as AT&T just revealed that the Optimus G will be launching on November 2. Pricing for the device will be set at $199.99 with a two-year contract, and customers that'd like to guarantee that they get their mitts on the quad-core Optimus G on day one can pre-order their very own handset starting tomorrow, October 16. Pre-orders will be taken right here.
The LG Optimus G's spec sheet includes a 4.7-inch 1280x768 True HD IPS+ display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 2GB RAM, 2,100mAh battery and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. There's also support for AT&T's 4G LTE network, which recently went live in Gary, Ind., and expanded in a few other markets. While we'll have to wait to actually get the Optimus G in our hands before we can actually see how it performs, the phone's spec sheet certainly makes it look like a phone that high-end Android fans will want to keep an eye on. Any of you AT&T folk thinking about checking the Optimus G out?
