After leaking more times than we care to count, the LG Intuition has finally been made officially official this morning by Verizon. The Intuition will be launching online on September 6, aka this Thursday, with in-store availability to follow on September 10. Pricing for the Intuition will be set at $199.99 with a two-year contract. Verizon notes that anyone that buys the Intuition online between September 6 and September 10 will also receive a free LG Tone Stereo Bluetooth headset. In terms of specs, here's what to expect once the Intuition rolls its way onto Verizon's website and your local store:
Along with the LG Intuition, Verizon also introduced the Samsung Galaxy Stellar, which is due to hit both the carrier's website and its retail stores on September 6. The Galaxy Stellar will be free with a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. Like the Intuition, the Galaxy Stellar packs 4G LTE connectivity, though the rest of the Galaxy Stellar's spec list isn't quite as high-end as LG's device. The Galaxy Stellar's specs are as follows:
As we've noted before, the Intuition is Verizon's version of the Optimus Vu, introduced internationally by LG earlier this year. The arrival of the Intuition will give Verizon its own "phablet"-style device, something that I'm sure the "bigger is better" folks are excited about. Meanwhile, folks looking for an affordable device may want to consider the Galaxy Stellar thanks to its free after rebate price tag and 4G LTE support. As usual, we've got Verizon's announcements for both of these new phones ready and waiting for you down below.
