Been holding off on that AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III purchase because you like the sound of that red version that the carrier announced last month? Your wait is almost over, as AT&T announced today that the Garnet Red Galaxy S III will be available for pre-order both online and in stores on July 15. Interested customers will be able to buy the device in AT&T stores starting July 29. AT&T offers the 16GB Galaxy S III for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
While the Galaxy S III has the same overall design on every U.S. operator, AT&T is the only carrier that's offering the device in red. It's not clear (and may not ever be) how AT&T managed to get its hands on a special color of the GSIII, but all that customers need to know is that the phone is just a couple of weeks away from hitting store shelves. Judging from the images that've been released by AT&T so far, the red Galaxy S III is looking pretty good, and it'll be a nice option for anyone that's not totally digging the standard Pebble Blue or Marble White Galaxy S IIIs. Any of you AT&T customers thinking about opening up your wallet for the Garnet Red Galaxy S III?
