Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket owners have been downloading their official bump to Android 4.0 since yesterday, but this morning the Ice Cream Sandwich update has been made nice and official by the folks at AT&T. The Skyrocket's update is available to download using Samsung's Kies computer software. The new software features the build number UCLF6 and includes the usual Android 4.0 goodies, including Face Unlock, a new notifications bar and an app to track your data usage. AT&T also reaffirmed that the Galaxy Note's ICS update is now available for download using Kies. Samsung's update pages for the Galaxy S II Skyrocket and Galaxy Note can be found here and here.

The Skyrocket is the third Samsung Galaxy handset on AT&T to receive an Android 4.0 update in the past couple of weeks, with the original Galaxy S II getting its update in late June and the Galaxy Note being bumped up to ICS starting today. I'm sure AT&T folk are happy to see that their handsets are finally being updated to Ice Cream Sandwich, and AT&T says that it will continue to push ICS updates to devices "throughout the summer." The carrier recently announced 10 different products that'll be updated to Android 4.0, and of that list, devices like the LG Nitro, Motorola Atrix 4G and Atrix 2 are still waiting for their taste of ICS.
