Ready for some rumors on some upcoming LTE handsets, Sprint customers? The folks at Pocketnow have gotten hold of a pair of user agent profiles for two unannounced devices, one of which may be the Galaxy S III. As you can see above, one of the profiles is for a device with the model number SPH-L710. Sprint's version of the Galaxy Nexus is the SPH-L700, so it's thought that the L710 could be the Galaxy S III. The specs listed in the L710's user agent profile include a display with a 1280x720 resolution, Android 4.0.4, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot capable of accepting 64GB cards. One other feature that potential Sprint GSIII owners will be interested in is the processor, which this report claims will be of the dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 variety.
A separate user agent profile obtained by Pocketnow has offered up some details on a device with the model number SPH-L300. The L suggests that LTE connectivity will be included, though the lower number means that this may be a slightly lower-end device than the Galaxy Nexus or the SPH-L710. Specs listed in the SPH-L300's user agent profile include Android 4.0.4, a 480x800 screen, 5-megapixel camera, dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage.
Many of the specs listed for the SPH-L710 line up with what the international Galaxy S III features, including the 1280x720 resolution, ICS and the 16GB of internal storage. As for the possibility of a dual-core S4 being included instead of Samsung's Exynos 4 Quad quad-core chip, we heard last month that such a swap could happen in the LTE-enabled U.S. GSIII variants. Of course, none of this is officially official until Sprint makes it so, and whenever it does you can bet that we'll pass along the news as soon as it happens. Stay tuned!
