After originally announcing the Transformer Pad TF300 back at MWC, ASUS has finally come clean with the launch and pricing details of its new Android-powered tablet. The Transformer Pad TF300 will be available online starting April 23rd and in stores on April 30th, with pricing set at $379 for the 16GB version and $399 for the 32GB variant. Like the other Transformer devices, the TF300 also has a optional keyboard dock that'll provide you with a hardware 'board and some extra battery for $149, though it's worth noting that the TF300's dock isn't compatible with the original Transformer or Transformer Prime. The TF300 will come in either royal blue, torch red or iceberg white colors. However, only the blue model will be available initially, with the red and white variants expected in early June.
The Transformer Pad TF300 is packing a 10.1-inch 1280x800 display and 1.2-megapixel camera on its face, along with a second, 8-megapixel shooter around back. It also features a 1.2GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Overall the TF300 looks like an option that's worth considering for anyone in the market for a new tablet, especially for folks that don't want to spring for the slightly pricier Transformer Prime. So now that the TF300's launch and pricing info is officially official, anyone thinking about springing for one?
