Samsung's "next Galaxy" event may still be a little under two weeks away, but the company's teaser campaign for its upcoming handset has officially begun. Earlier today Samsung Mobile's Twitter account sent out a message saying "Destination: tgeltaayehxnx," the latter part of which turns out to be an anagram of "the next Galaxy." Plugging "tgeltaayehxnx" with a ".com" into your browser's address bar will lead you to a website with the countdown timer you see above. The timer will expire tomorrow at 7 a.m. Eastern tomorrow morning, at which point it seems likely that we'll be treated to the next piece of Samsung's hype-building campaign. This teaser page that also contains the message "Discover how Samsung is about to challenge the way you view the GALAXY once more" in its meta description.
So there you go, Android fans. Exactly what Samsung has planned for us between now and May 3rd is still a mystery, but it's worth noting for all of the amateur sleuths out there that heading to "thenextgalaxy.com" brings up a password-protected website, so it seems as though that page will come into play at some point. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on tgeltaayehxnx.com tomorrow morning to find out what happens when the timer reaches zero, so stay tuned!
