The legal war between Apple and Samsung wages on. Today it's been revealed that a German court has rejected Apple's request for a preliminary injunction against both the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Tab 10.1N, the latter of which is a tweaked version of the original Tab 10.1 that Samsung put together to get around a German ban against the first model. The patent that Apple believes the two devices infringed upon relates to touchscreen technology. However, the judge presiding over the case said that the patent is likely to be revoked "because of a technology that was already on the market before the intellectual property had been filed for protection."
Things in the global tiff between Apple and Samsung haven't exactly been leaning in the South Korean firm's favor lately, so I'm sure Samsung is pleased to learn that it can continue to sell the Galaxy Tab 10.1N and Galaxy Nexus in Germany. Of course, this case isn't over quite yet, but a win is still a win. Stay tuned for more updates from the battle between Apple and Samsung. Considering how big it's become, I'm sure it won't be long before more news comes along.
