Earlier today, Verizon released the 4G-enabled Pantech Breakout to the masses, and now another one of Big Red's LTE handsets is in the spotlight thanks to the folks at Wirefly. It seems that when someone at the online retailer was posting images of the Breakout on its product page, they confused Pantech's device for the unannounced Samsung Stratosphere. The result, of course, is that someone noticed the flub (which is still up on Wirefly's site as of this writing) and plastered the pics online. There's no clear shots of the Stratosphere's keyboard to be found, but the photos do show a nice, clear look at the device's face as well as a close-up of its capacitive Android navigation keys.
As a quick refresher, the Stratosphere is rumored to be packing an 800x480 display of unknown size, single-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel shooter around front, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 4G LTE, and Android 2.3.4 beneath Samsung's TouchWiz UI. As for a launch date? That's still up in the air, though a recently-leaked Radio Shack document showed that October 6th may be the day. As usual, we'll pass along the details as we get them.
