Interested in picking up an Android tablet on AT&T but the recently-launched HTC Jetstream isn't striking your fancy? Perhaps the Acer Iconia Tab A501 will be more your speed. AT&T announced back in March that the Iconia Tab A501 would be coming to its network this summer, and today it's been revealed that the Iconia Tab will be available on Sunday, September 18th. As far as pricing goes, you can expect the Iconia Tab A501 to set you back $330 with a two-year contract, while those of us that prefer the contract-free route will be shelling out $480. Plan pricing is set at $15/250MB or $25/2GB, with on-contract customers being subject to $15/250MB or $10/GB overage fees.
For those of you that'd like a spec refresher, the Acer Iconia Tab A501 is packing a 10.1-inch 1280x768 display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, HSPA+ connectivity, and Android 3.0 with an update to Android 3.1 coming sometime in the future. That's not a bad spec list overall, and we're glad to see another Honeycomb device making its way to AT&T's shelves. Anyone thinking about pulling the trigger on an Iconia Tab A501 in a week?
