Interested in finding out when the Motorola DROID 3 will be launching? So are we. July 7th has been kicked around as a possible D3 launch date in the past, but if a new Best Buy screenshot is to be believed, the release date may be a week later. As you can see above, the folks at Droid Attic have procured an alleged Best Buy screenshot that shows that the DROID 3 is scheduled to be in stock at the big box retailer on July 13th, meaning a launch would be likely to occur the following day.

Just like every other time we do this little dance, it's worth mentioning that leaked/rumored launch dates like these can and often do change. Could the DROID 3 be launching on July 14th? Sure. It is, after all, a Thursday, which is the day of the week that Verizon typically releases new products. That said, I wouldn't go taking the day off work just yet.
