Choice. It's a beautiful thing, really. Whether it's Android vs. iOS, Verizon vs. T-Mobile, or clamshell vs. candybar phone, it's great to have the ability to choose a phone that you prefer. To that end, there's a battle brewing between the HTC EVO 3D and HTC Sensation 4G, two hot flagship Android smartphones on Sprint and T-Mobile.
Wondering where the differences lie? Save for the EVO's 3D capabilities, RAM differences (Sensation has 768 MB, while EVO 3D has 1 GB), and design differences, the smartphones are virtually identical to each other. Both have 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processors, 4.3-inch qHD displays with the same pixel layout (540 x 960), and are up-to-date with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and HTC's Sense 3.0 user interface. They're even the same in the pricing department - both are $199.99 at their respective carriers.
Which phone did you purchase, and why? Did you go for the HTC Sensation 4G for looks and the 8-megapixel shooter, or did you opt for the EVO 3D for the 1 GB of RAM and 3D capabilities? Or perhaps it was a carrier thing? Either way, be sure to cast your vote in the poll, and hit the comments section with your reasoning!
(And yes, if you're planning to buy one of the two in the next…let's say…30 days, you're welcome to join in on the polling fun!)
