Hot on the heels of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 availability announcement earlier this morning, Verizon just let us know that they'll be launching their own version of the device that'll include 4G LTE connectivity. There's no word yet on when Verizon's model will be launching, but pre-orders for it will kick off on Wednesday, June 8th. As far as pricing goes, you can expect to pay $529.99 for the 16GB model or $629.99 for the 32GB version. Verizon's Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available in either "Metallica Gray" (which could be a typo, but I hope it isn't) and "Glossy White." Full press release is below.
Although Big Red's version of the Tab 10.1 has been the star of a couple of leaks in the past, we're still excited to see the slate made all nice and official. Even better is the fact that we won't have to pay a huge premium for the 4G LTE models, as they're only priced at $30 over Samsung's WiFi-only versions. So, now that we've got two different variations of the same 10.1-inch slate, I've got one question: who ya got?
