Just a few short days ago, we were teased with some of the HTC Doubleshot's specs thanks to the appearance of the device's user agent profile, but today we've got something even better for you. Aftet seeing a ROM leak posted over at 911Sniper, we now know that the Doubleshot will likely become the myTouch 4G Slide when it comes to market (possibly in early July) and will pack a 3.7-inch 800x480 display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor, 768MB RAM, 8-megapixel camera with HD video capture, VGA front-facing shooter, 14.4Mbps HSPA+, what appears to be support for 1080p 3D video capture as well as 3D playback, indicating that the myTouch 4G Slide may feature a 3D-capable display.
Overall, the myTouch 4G Slide sounds like a pretty beefy smartphone that should please those of us that can't live without a physical QWERTY keyboard, especially since the 'board on the myTouch 3G Slide was the subject of quite a bit of praise. I've got a feeling that some folks may be disappointed that the handset's display is "only" 3.7-inches, and all of the 3D features, if true, may turn off some potential customers, but I'd say that the wait until July just got a whole lot longer. Has the myTouch 4G Slide shot up to the top of your most wanted phones list?
