The HTC Merge has had a pretty wild history since it was first caught a glimpse of it last September, with an official announcement coming from HTC last week. No specific carrier was mentioned in HTC's release, but we've seen the Merge sport Verizon-branding more than once in the past. Now a debut on Big Red seems all but confirmed thanks to the FCC. The Merge recently stopped in the FCC, as can be seen above, and it just so happened to bring some Verizon user manuals along for the ride.

With all of the red accents plastered on the Merge's face and keyboard, it was always kind of assumed that it was Verizon-bound, but this news is still good to hear. HTC said that we can expect the Merge to arrive on "multiple" North American carriers this spring, so hopefully an announcement from VZW with launch and pricing info isn't too far away.
