We saw AT&T's branded version of the Samsung Galaxy S leak out yesterday, and today we've got some information for you on the Verizon model. The folks at Boy Genius Report received the screenshot you see above, stating that Verizon will announce the launch of their Galaxy Tab this Thursday, September 16th, which just so happens to be the same day as a certain Samsung event. Looks like we will, in fact, be getting more info on the U.S. Galaxy Tab on that day, just like we thought. As a refresher, the Galaxy Tab will pack Android 2.2, a 7-inch touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, support for Adobe Flash 10.1, and EV-DO Rev. A.
Since it's looking likely that Samsung will announce a Verizon-ready Galaxy S this Thursday, I'd say it's safe to assume that we'll be seeing AT&T's model, as well. And don't forget about the rumored Sprint Galaxy Tab, which is said to be WiMAX-capable. Yes, friends, it looks like Thursday will be a good day for Android tablet lovers across the country. Let's just hope that T-Mobile gets its own Galaxy Tab variant, otherwise the carrier and its customers may feel a little left out.
